# Land Parcels

Owning land in the town of 2d.Miami isn’t just about bragging rights. NFT land parcels have utilities both as gameplay and metaverse elements.

### Gameplay utility: Safe house or Honeypot?

Owning a land parcel gives players the opportunity to turn their land into either:

* A safe house\
 Players turn their parcel into a safe house, where no nanospawn can bother them, and which can be used as a teleport point for everyone in the Enclave upon sharing its coordinates. After all, we need to help each other out.
* A honeypot\
 Those memory shards won’t harvest themselves! All parcels attract nanospawns, and are set as honeypots by default. Don’t forget, those shards won’t harvest themselves, and we need to take down those nanobots to get them!

### Metaverse utility: Your place, persistent and customizable.

In-character or not, building is always in order. “Memory Hunters” is more than a game, it’s a social experience where you can leave a persistent mark. Players can build on their land parcels, and use them to create events, broadcast live streams, and all the things you would expect from a metaverse. Features include:

* Build on your parcel by placing any compatible NFT assets (walls, furniture, images (can be non-NFT), or any random objects)
* Embed a YouTube video that will play when visitors enter your parcel
* Live stream from Twitch (native) or Zoom (via Twitch in Zoom)
